DART IDOL : Alivia Szymczak because she is an up and coming young lady who asked me to be her partner at the Bullshooter World finals. I wasn’t going to go but couldn’t tell a kid no. So we went and we won. I will never forget the look on her face. She is an amazing kid with amazing poise and form. She loves the game and is the sweetest, humbled person you could ever meet. I want to be like her when I grow up. She is the future of this game I love so much.

*GOALS IN THE SPORT OF DARTS : I wanted my Pro status in Soft and Steel which I accomplished and received this month. Next goal is to get my CDC card.
*IN WHAT WAYS DO YOU TRY TO BE AN AMBASSADOR TO THE GAME: I love to see our youth get involved with the game. I am always encouraging them to play and create a fun experience for them. If I see a thrower struggling I offer to help and give them tips that others have given me to succeed. It’s all about helping each other be the best we can be.
*WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A PART OF FIRST TEAM 717 SPONSOR GROUP? : 717 is the first place I through in a team match. The amount of love I felt in that room that day at the Area Vs Area tournament in the very beginning of my dart adventure ignited that spark. It gave me the hunger and drive to practice my game and get to a higher level as some of the players in that room. I have always represented 717 from the day I was welcomed into the family. I’m very honored to put that patch on every time I step to the oche or throw line. I know I don’t shoot leagues out of 717 due to my work schedule but Ryan has been my biggest supporter on Facebook thru his comments and encouragement to keep rising to the top. Being on the 717 team would mean the world to me.

*WHO HAS TAUGHT YOU THE MOST IN THE SPORT OF DARTS?
Bill Schweikart has taught me the most about darts. He has pushed me to excel on the steel tip side and continues to encourage me to improve my game. To him I’m very grateful for his guidance.
*HOW DO YOU MANAGE FAMILY, CAREER AND TRAVEL FOR DARTS?
I try to plan my schedules a year in advance. I usually go to the same events every year so I can plan accordingly but some tournaments pop up and plans change. I’m 100% darts and if I’m not working I’m traveling to a tournament whether it’s soft tip or steel. I love them both.
